Rosalva Siqueira, a Brazilian artist rooted in the landscapes of Recife, Pernambuco, brings to her artistic work the essence of fruits, barnacles, corals, and other natural elements that populate her childhood memories. Her passion for clay modeling emerged during a course with Israel Kislansky, leading her to create pieces that evoke the poetry of nature's tactile textures, in contrast to the uniformity of cell phone screens.

Her series, such as Arrecifes, Cracas Balanus, and Disformes, explore vivid experiences between the beach of Recife and her grandparents' farm in the Pernambuco hinterland. Inspired by the imperfect nature of human beings, Rosalva seeks to connect with organic forms and irregular shapes, expressing herself genuinely through her ceramic art. With almost two decades dedicated to ceramics, her handmade pieces can be appreciated both as decorative objects and as metal pieces, reflecting a relationship of exchange, respect, and continuous learning with the artistic medium.
