Barong is a Hindu deity linked to Balinese culture. This is a popular character in Bali, considered a guardian, whose image is used at entrances to places and temples. He combines such admirable traits in the Hindu tradition as "heroic strength and initiative" with "loving and personal devotion to his God (Rama)".
