The ethnic diversity of Brazilian indigenous peoples is one of the sources of inspiration for the creation of the wooden masks at Curral da Cor. By returning to the development of unique pieces for each ethnic group, the Minas Gerais-based atelier has created enriching handcrafted work, both for its aesthetic and cultural value, promoting new concepts for decorating spaces with an ethnic style.
The wooden mask, through its paintings and carved details, faithfully represents the cultural traditions of the Pataxó indigenous people, present in the state of Bahia.
