Ceramic Paquimé Chihuahua vase

The ceramic vase with ethnic designs is a work of art inspired by the aesthetics and essence of ancient Paquimé ceramics, which are divided into two painting styles: Ramos Polychrome and Babicora Polychrome. Considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this archaeological site, belonging to the municipality of Casas Grandes in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, was a great cultural and artistic center, with outstanding production of polychrome ceramics with thin walls - characteristics inherent to this decorative vase made by artisans from Mexico.

Graphics in a geometric style, based on the Chihuahua pottery tradition, take over the surface of the white vase, personalizing it in a creative and original way. The geometric shapes in black and red establish an interesting counterpoint with the organic lines of the leaves and flowers placed inside. In the absence of these elements, the pattern highlights the shape of the vase, which in itself already makes the decor unique and modern.
