The Djembe is a drum of African origin made of goat skin stretched over a wooden body in the shape of a chalice, with a wider upper part. This direct percussion instrument rescues the ancestry of African culture both for its physical characteristics and for its serious and vibrant sound. And although it is used as a musical instrument, in interior decoration it also finds a space to express the peculiarities of its rustic aesthetic and leave the environment with a unique style.
The body made of carved wood made by craftsmen from the Island of Bali with carved feet displaying different figures give an exclusive look to this handcrafted drum. The black tension string with colorful details tied to the body of the musical instrument also enriches the piece, displaying the best of the African style.
