Esplendor Espírito Santo in Madeira

The white dove is a biblical symbol that embodies God's peace and forgiveness in the Old Testament and the divine Holy Spirit in the New Testament, starting from the baptism of Jesus. And for being part of the Holy Trinity, the dove of the Holy Spirit is represented with three splendorous rays under its head. The image of this docile and adaptable bird is intertwined with the qualities of the radiant Holy Spirit that inspires perseverance.

The wooden sculpture with a raised base (pedestal) made by artisans Marlon and Kelly from Atelier Curral da Cor highlights the importance of their presence in religious art that highlights faith and spiritual connection as differentiating factors in the environment. The dove of the Holy Spirit also presents itself as a delicate baptism decoration.
